And you are very welcome! I can't even imagine how much time and patience it took to make this, but I can tell you that the end result was DEFINITELY worth the effort!^^
Beautiful work. My biggest toothpick project was a cigar box that pales in comparisons to your smallest project. You have a gift. I would like to send you a few invitations to feature some of your work in my group. I made a special gallery just for wood sculpting.
Definitely go post these on Reddit. I'd love to see cool stuff like this more often. These are amazing. Do watch the self-promotion rules though. Start on www.reddit.com/r/somethingimad… first?
It's very sturdy because I double and triple layer the toothpicks as I build. The hardest part of moving it is it's heavy and awkward (3 feet diagonally) Thanks for asking
I hide my head in shame at my own lack of dedication to my art... Twenty five pounds of toothpicks with eight years of work poured into them is admirable by any standards; you put us all to shame. On a purely artistic note, love the layout and flow of the piece, and the detail work on those rock outcroppings and brick walls is fantastic. Would make an awesome film set. Great stuff, keep it up.
Doc
- I believe it! I probably wouldn't be able to complete this in a lifetime.
To put it simply: what you built there with only your own hands and imagination is quite astonishing! My hat off to you, sir.

amazing
But I´m too impressed. I have never seen anything like that.
I don´t know if I had the endurance to do this, this seems to take sooooo much time to get anywhere.
The finished thing though, is awesome.
